This Green “Stewart” Tartan Plaid skirt is made from 100% cotton.
It wraps around and is held with very strong hook and loop fasteners strip for very easy on/off.

The sizing for these skirts are not your regular Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large. The reason for this is very simple. In this day and age it seems every designer/manufacturer uses different measurements. Most labels also “down size” eg what used to be a Large now seems to carry a Medium or even a Small tag. (Vanity perhaps) I’m sure you have clothing, same sizes with different labels and they do not fit the same. We use an old method that seems to be obsolete these days. A TAPE MEASURE. Novel concept. Remember a tape measure, whether in inches or centimeters does not lie. Therefore if you measure around the part of your body where you want the waistband of the skirt to sit, whether around the waist, hip-huger (the picture shows hip-huger) 2”-3” below the belly-button or low-low rider, then match it with our measurements and If you’ve been honest with yourself you will have a skirt that fits perfectly. BEFORE ORDERING PLEASE MEASURE AROUND YOURSELF WHERE YOU WANT THE WAISTBAND OF THE SKIRT TO SIT (picture shows hip-huger 2″-3″ below belly button) THEN MATCH IT WITH OUR SIZES.

HIP-HUGER SKIRTS – Length is overall from top of waistband to bottom of skirt

SIZES;

SMALL – Waistband measures 30” around when fully closed. Skirt is 9″ long from top of waistband to bottom of hem.
MEDIUM – Waistband measures 32” around when fully closed. Skirt is 9″ long from top of waistband to bottom of hem.
LARGE – Waistband measures 34” around when fully closed. Skirt is 9.5″ long from top of waistband to bottom of hem.
X-LARGE – Waistband measures 36” around when fully closed. Skirt is 9.5″ long from top of waistband to bottom of hem.

1X – Waistband measure 38″ around when fully closed. Skirt is 10″ Long from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
2X – Waistband measure 40″ around when fully closed. Skirt is 10.5″ Long from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
3X – Waistband measure 42″ around when fully closed. Skirt is 11″ Long from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
4X – Waistband measure 45″ around when fully closed. Skirt is 11.5″ Long from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
5X – Waistband measure 49″ around when fully closed. Skirt is 12″ Long from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
6X – Waistband measure 53″ around when fully closed. Skirt is 12″ Long from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.

OUR SIZES ARE PRETTY CLOSE to EXACT. IF IT SAYS THE SKIRT IS 30″ or 32″ or 34″ or 36″ etc around the waistband, then we try our best to make sure that is what it is.

The VELCRO CLOSURE will give you a little adjustment for comfort and leave a nice clean hidden finish that won’t clash with any style top. Buttons, zippers or pins do not suit everyone.
